They say that laughter is the best medicine. Let’s face it, we call all do with a bit more laughter right now. Have you ever thought about getting into the comedy scene or improving your public speaking using comedy?
As we slowly return to normal, many of us are thinking about how we can develop our personal skills. With this in mind, we've been working with Bruce Devlin, a well-known and respected writer and performer to bring an innovative, immersive online learning experience aimed at developing your talent.
The course will help you develop your ideas, prepare for performance and may even start you on a whole new career path.
We’re offering this as three 45 min masterclasses, which will take place via video conference. Each course will have a maximum of 10 people and you’ll have work to do in between sessions.
- STEP 1: We’ll send out a questionnaire at least a week before the Masterclass.
- STEP 2: You to return the completed questionnaire at least 2 days before the session – this will help Bruce prepare for the session.
- STEP 3: We’ll send you a link to join a Google Meet for the allotted day.
- STEP 4: Join the Masterclass on the chosen day.
Alternatively, you can sign up for one-to-one coaching.
We can also offer one off sessions if you have a particular speech to write (best man? Keynote
Corporate speech?)
Scottish stand up stalwart Bruce Devlin is a force to be reckoned. A legendary MC who to this day is still a resident at the stand comedy clubs, Bruce is a favourite and regular at the Glasgow, New York and Edinburgh comedy festivals. Seasoned in corporate work for Rox Jewellery, Lush Cosmetics, HSBC, Barnardos, Children First, Acensous, the STV children’s appeal to name but a few. Working with Des Clarke, Jenifer Reoch, Sean Batty, Lorraine Kelly, Grant Stot.
Devlin is also a highly regarded and accomplished stand up/writer/performer/presenter. Most recently when Bruce took over Danny Wallace’s column inn www.hoodmagazine.co.uk and various articles for publications all over the U.K. He also redefined Michelle McManus as critically acclaimed cabaret chanteuse. He also writes after dinner for a number of Scottish celebrities.
More recently Bruce has been in demand in the world of TV warm up where he’s the go to for stars such as Rylan Clark Neal, Davina McCall, Dermot O’Leary and Rochelle and Marvin Humes and many a ‘loose women’.
An accomplished radio and TV personality Bruce can be heard on radio Scotland on ‘breaking the news’ also a regular on the Kaye Adams radio show.
