Our Purpose
UKCAPSA (UK Celebrant and Public Speaking Academy) was established in 2019 with the express purpose of providing high quality, accredited courses that help people find fulfilling roles or enhance their lives. We’re passionate about providing different training opportunities.
We started by tackling Celebrant training – we discovered that there were organisations out there offering very limited, unaccredited, Celebrant training and charging a healthy price for it! As we felt that people were being short changed we decided to do things differently. We offer a recognised Celebrant Diploma and deliver this to the highest standards with an experienced team of professionals.
What we do
We train Celebrants (Officiants) to deliver engaging, entertaining and personality packed Ceremonies that reflect our clients’ individuality tell their very own personal story.
UKCAPSA HQ is based in Scotland; however, our fabulous training team spans the length and breadth of the UK.
The training and assessor team are chosen for their professional background, creativity, energy, personality and their genuine love of life. Each and every member of the training team is an expert in their field. Meticulous attention to detail, innovative ideas, a love of people and a friendly manner are some of the reasons why we are leading from the front.
SQA Accreditation & Celebrant Diploma Recognition
UKCAPSA was created through the experience, knowledge and passion of both Anne and fellow Director Morag after many years of creating and conducting one-of-a-kind Wedding, Affirmation of Vows, Baby Naming and Funeral Ceremonies. They have set the bar on how Celebrants should be trained and how Ceremonies should be scripted and conducted. They bring professionalism and industry standards to an unregistered market place.
In 2019 they were awarded SQA Centre approval and the Diploma was given internationally recognised accreditation.
Since launching in April 2019, UKCAPSA have trained hundreds of people. Every Trustpilot review is 5* and the Academy continues to develop into new areas.
